The Waste Industry Safety and Health Forum Northern Ireland (WISHNI) presented their annual Student Ambassador Award at the University of Ulster, Belfast Campus on Thursday 23 March 2023.

Students were tasked to prepare a paper outlining the key issues, considerations and measures that the waste industry can take to prevent workplace transport related accidents.
The worthy winner - Kerry Devine, a second year Environmental Health Student at the University of Ulster, was presented with the first-place winner’s prize, generously sponsored by Re-Gen Waste Limited. Second place was awarded to Aoife O’Neill.
