The annual award is presented by the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) to recognise the contribution made by health and safety representatives to the safety of employees in the workplace.
Health and safety representatives are often the unsung heroes of the workplace as they work behind the scenes to ensure colleagues are properly trained and work to the highest health and safety standards.
HSENI and ICTU are pleased to work together to celebrate and acknowledge best practice in health and safety at work, and would like to thank everyone for their participation.
Siobhan was presented the Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to improving workplace health and safety as a NIPSA health and safety representative.
Paul Turner, NIPSA, was highly commended by HSENI and ICTU for his contribution to improving workplace health and safety as a NIPSA health and safety representative.
Emma-Jane Cullen, UNISON, was highly commended by HSENI and ICTU for her contribution to improving workplace health and safety as a UNISON health and safety representative.
